Why do you listen to records?

Do you listen to records for the SQ, or do you just prefer to listen to music through this medium?
I find myself putting records on occasionally, ( I have a large  collection) but I’m not sure if it’s because of their sound.  I certainly have the availability of millions of songs or compositions to listen to by streaming, and the sound quality is just abut the same, and, of course, the variety is endless.

So why listen to records?

This not about preference for sound quality, both formats are simply great. I virtually never play vinyl for past few years, I don't want to put up with having to listen to an entire album these days, very rare that all tracks are worth my limited listening time. Streams  and cd rips allow virtually unlimited listening modes with my very large library. I can listen to entire albums, pick and choose particular cuts, or I can let the bot  choose random cuts, and this from chosen genres or entire library.

LP often have better mastering, less compression since they are targeted to audiophiles as opposed to CDs and streaming targeted to crappy car systems and cheap headphones. Also, where do you find the original, pre "Digitally remastered 2015" version?
