Judas Priest - Painkiller (35th Anniversary LP)

On December 5th Tulare Dust: A Songwriters' Tribute To Merle Haggard comes out on LP (vinyl) for the first time. Originally released on CD in 1994 by Hightone Records, this album includes recordings of Merle Haggard songs by Lucinda Williams, Iris DeMent, Joe Ely, Dave Alvin, Dwight Yoakam, and Others. For those who insist LP's cost too much, this one retails for $26.00.

On November 25th a new book hits the racks, one I will be buying. It's entitled The Band Photographs, 1968-1969: Two-Volume Set. The photos were taken by well known Band photographer Elliot Landy, the book is hardcover, and the retail price is $100.
