Eversolo T8 USB transfer rate issue.

I have installed an Eversolo T8 streamer, and have an issue, has anyone else seen this problem ad/or what am I missing.

If I use the USB to DAC output the frequency is limited to 48 kHz.

There is a setting for "EOS", use original speed, but that does not affect the transfer rate, it is stuck at 48 kHz.  On models other than the T8 there is a menu option to use the original bit rate, but I cannot find it!

24/192 is fine on Coax.

Can anyone help?

A further note for anyone purchasing this device, if you are going to install an SSD and copy music files onto it using your computer (at least for Windows, I know not about macos) you MUST format the SSD as NTFS or it will not show up as a shere.

Retiredaudioguy, I agree that the T8 sounds phenomenal. I've also noticed that its control of sibilance is superb. I listen to a lot of live BBC 3 and other music broadcasts that employ female announcers, and the T8 presents their voices much more naturally than other streaming sources in my opinion. I am incredibly pleased with its sonics.

I have repeatedly recommended people to NOT buy eversolo , still some get fooled by the marketing.

@bojack Sibilance control is a big deal for me, as it grates on my ears like few other anomalies. It is also one of the few areas where DAC reconstruction filter differences are clearly, and repeatably, obvious. Even on a modest (if overperforming for the price) Topping DX3 Pro - which i got because its headphone amp drives HiFiMan Sundaras easily - the brick wall filter, surprisingly to me, controlled sibilance on female vocals noticeably better than other settings, better than the Bluesound Node by itself.
