I have a pair of Fritz Carerra BE's and they are excellent stand mount speakers. However, I also have a pair of Odeon Midas speakers. I bought the Odeon's recently because an amp damaged one of the drivers on my main speakers and was fascinated by the build quality of the Odeon's and love trying different speakers. Since I was going to be without my main speakers for a while I bought the Odeon's and thought I'd be able to move them into my office once my speakers are repaired. However, plans change and now my wife wants to put some exercise equipment in my office, which I'm fine with as she supports my hifi addiction. So, probably open to selling the Odeon's. They may be what your're looking for.... small/medium floorstanding speaker, 95 db efficient, excellent bass especially in a medium to small room. They are a horn design with a handbuilt birch-ply sphereical wave guide and beautiful walnut cabinet. I'm currently using them in my main room where the listening area is about 16'w by 22'd by12'h but it opens to the foyer and dining room so the volume is much bigger and they sound great even in this large area. All the components are first rate and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. I haven't officially put these up for sale yet but open to discussing. Just pm me. Here's a link for more info:

Requesting Your Expertise - Best Options - High Sensitivity Speakers For A Smaller Room
As the title says, I am looking into the best options for higher sensitivity speakers for a somewhat small room. The room itself is 12.5 feet by 9.5 feet. The speakers would be placed along the 12.5 foot wall. Amplifier power is 8wpc.
The system will be used for a variety of music, including folk, instrumental, rock, jazz, and singer songwriter offerings. Budget is a max of $3k, used. And a quality subwoofer, chosen specifically for the room, and use with whatever speakers that I choose, is available to employ.
I already have some ideas, but, clearly, none of us are aware of everything, and, in the higher sensitivity space, things can get a bit tricky. Your experiences, thoughts, recommendations and expertise would be appreciated in terms of outlining all the worthwhile options available. Thanks.
