How to dispose of your system?

A lot of us are getting to the age where  we may start thinking about what will happen to our precious systems when we’re gone?  Will they be sold in pieces, breaking up the synergy we’ve worked so hard to establish? That seems to me to be criminal.
What about trying to sell the whole system, kit and kaboodle, maybe to a member of this forum? Would anyone, perhaps a novice, be willing to pay for a very finely tuned instrument?
If the system cost say,  $35K to put together, what would a fair price be?

Make a spreadsheet with everything on it and show price paid along with average selling prices. Put the contact info on it for any audiophile friends along with TMR.

I’ve sold off 75% of my gear in the last nine months for the reason the OP alluded to.

@rooze Spreadsheets

Were you an accountant or a banker?

When l was speed reading your last post, l pre supposed you were about to say …..”l’ve sold off 75% of my gear in the last nine months (l had been given left to live) for the reason the OP alluded to”

Always look(ing) on the bright side of life, profit and return.

Thanks very much for the tip.  It seems the most logical way to go jf they take care of the entire project.

To those with harsh words; this gentleman obviously has integrity and genuine concern. I see someone genuinely concerned that his matters, hobby or otherwise, are taken care of with great care. To the others; you have presented some fine suggestions that I'm sure are greatly appreciated. As an audiophile, our hobby is no different that any other. We're passionate about it and it matters to us, and we enjoy sharing that passion with others. So in that vein, we hope that someone will take care and insure that someone else may be able to enjoy what we found so appealing and satisfying.
