How important is an LCD screen on your streamer?

Like the vast majority already stated, zero need and absolutely do not want a screen.  Seems like a marketing thing and bling.  

A lot of good points already, but to add, think of the cost, dev cycle and manufacturing needed to put one into a product that doesn’t need that functionality imho.  
 

Sure there are some edge cases it would seem and or if one just wants one because it’s cool or for the sake of it, go for it! but imho I see no point and is more of a major drawback to have one.  $.02

I had a screen on my Eversolo and now my HIFI Rose RS130 and like it. I look up all the time to check how far into the song I am and artwork. Wouldn’t buy one without it.

I use critical mode on my Aurender NS200 and the screen is always off. Honestly everything you need to see is on your tablet or phone.

Willywonka hit it.  I control my streamer from my iPad and NEVER look at the streamer.  Truly, never.  

I never looked at the screen on my Aurender N100SC except to make sure it was turning off properly.

With my Eversolo devices you cannot configure some stuff without looking at the screen but after configuration is complete the iPad is so much easier to use.  If the device could use Bluetooth and allow everything from the iPad that would be best IMHO.  The device is almost 20 ft. from my listening position so I cannot see anything anyway, I got a bad neck ache setting up the thing!
