It is being slowly rolled out. By October end most in the countries listed in their news article should have it. All I need to do is have patience. I waited 8 years for it - what is one more month?
Qobuz Connect wasn't compatible with my 2 CA streamers, which aren't that long in the tooth. It will be interesting to see if Spotify Connect, if it ever arrives, will work iwith current equipment or if people will be expected to buy new gear
I just received it in Phoenix AZ. Sorry I can't recall how I was advised--seem to remember I got a text from Spotify or maybe I opened Spotify and the announcement popped up. I was invited to make changes to audio streaming quality in my settings to select lossless. So as we understand, it now offers CD quality but not the higher resolution available in some selections on Tidal ( which I also subscribe to and have been using in my main systems). Does it make a difference? Each will have to decide depending on equipment and individual hearing capability.
I posted on that old thread that I received it a couple of days ago. I am really liking what I hear and you don't have to be a "golden ear" to hear it. It was worth the wait for me because some of the albums/music I listen to is not available on Tidal or Qobuz. Also noticed that while most (95% - of songs played for the past 2 days) songs are available "lossless", there are a few that are fill 320kbps.
