Accuphase vs Luxman

Greetings! Is anyone here familiar with Luxman M10x and Luxman C10x? I currently have Accuphase components consisting of an Accuphase A-48S Class-A amplifier,  an Accuphase C2300 preamplifier and an Accuphase DC-37 Processor/DAC. My system is definitely an upgrade from my previous McIntosh MA12000 integrated which I still consider to be a really good component.  The Accuphase is clean, precise but not clinical, dynamic and musically engaging. Mids are lush and bass is impactful and focused. It's like a beautiful custom acoustic with incredible sustain, decay and detail that resonates emotionally (what can I say,  I love guitars).

But what will the Luxman offer me? I should mention that I have Klipsch LaScala AL5 speakers and an Innuos Pulsar (not Pulse) streamer. I guess I'm just curious and love exploring different avenues.

Why are you even considering amps with this kind of power for 105db, 8 Ohm speakers. Way over kill and wasting your money on power you will never need. As much as I love Luxman, I think for your laScala’s your current amp will be the winner.

I ran an older Luxman class A amp on my LaScala’s when I had them very nice but the best amp I ever used on them was a 2.5wpc 2A3 SET from Triode labs. I’m thinking the more refined and maybe warmer sounding Accuphase will be the better match for the LaScala’s. Side step to a slight difference is all your going to get IMO.

Interestingly I’m considering upgrading from a Mac system (C2700/MC301 mono's) to Accuphase.

I wonder if you ever tried tubes: (preamp, and/or amp) with those very efficient speakers.

I bet my Little Luxman Integrated SQ-N150 (10 wpc at 6 ohms) would sound great with those speakers. When I bought it, I drove my Main System's Horns/15" woofer (similar efficiency to yours) with it for a while, but it's purpose is to let me use tubes in my small office without too much heat.

Live close enough to have me bring it by, I'm in Plainfield, NJ, 07062

I just watched this youtube where the presenter (whom I like) uses Klipsch speakers and loves this low tube integrated.

Analog Ethos AE1-C single-ended, integrated tube amplifier

Sorry, I don't know how to make the youtube that I have already watched start at the beginning here.

Luxman sounds like Luxman looks, shiny and technical. I would recommend sticking with Accuphase. Lots of people like the Luxman sound but has a very attenuated midrange and so does not have good rhythm and pace. Technically it is very detailed though. I have listened to several of there amps and integrated, and that is their house sound.
