Anyone else noticing A’gon being slow/constantly refreshing?

It’s the slowest site I go to, worse now then before (I joined in 2019)

Constant ads, all over the page blocking reading often, so tired of telling it I’m human, each refresh takes a long time on my very fast Verizon FIOS 

What bothers me is how amazingly slow the site is to respond. I have pretty fast internet and do not have the problem on other sites.  The forum seems worse than the ads.  This issue seemed to start sometime in 2025 and to worsen over the summer.

It's the site. I have a very new computer and great high speed DSL. The forum loads tremendously slowly. The listings portion doesn't seem to have the same problem.

Yes. It would vary from day to day a few weeks ago. But for the last five or so days it has been dead slow. I have tried on different devices with the same results. 

Yes, it can be vexing.  My WiFi speed is excellent, too.  Apparently, I answered in the other thread.
