Thanks for the impression Argerich as Uchida ( i adored in Mozart) are great pianists...

My point was Samson was in the same class...

I will listen Argerich in Scriabin i never did ...

Warmer may refer to the flowing dynamical gesture of the touch in a delicate way or the way the pianist  is able to create colors and not black and white hard precision...

I think Samson is able to create colors. Brendel too but his delicate touch is unique among many pianists.

Thanks. Zimmerman Brahms concerto no 2 is my favorite piano concerto because it is for me the essence of an era and nobody i listen to surpass Zimmerman playing here ...

But the pianist in Bernstein work here is not Zimmerman ...

Sorry about posting the wrong pianist in Bernstein. The Record I have at home has Zimmerman playing and I thought that was what I was posting. It has a very interesting introduction with Bernstein talking about the symphony and what his goal was in writing it.

If you like Brahms' 2nd Piano concerto, let me recommend Geza Anda with Frenec Fricsay conducting. I own the recording of Rubenstein and it never really moved me. But Geza Anda and Fricsay brought it to life for me.
