Your favorite obscure song

I inherited this album from my friend when he passed away:

Good luck finding this streaming anywhere. I’d never heard of Steve Moos or the band Jump in the Water. I like all the songs on this album, and the first one Illusions of Love is a good one. Can’t find it on Youtube but here’s a poorly recorded live version:

This is why I like getting ahold of CD collections. There’s music out there that’s hard to find.

Other examples include Marco Benevento Live at Tonic  & Yellowjackets Lifecycle, with Mike Stern. As far as I can tell, to hear the full album in these cases and others you still have to buy the CDs or find a tape or LP.

Sorry my entry isn't from the '60s or '70s, but...

"100% White Girl" by VKTMS.  Awesome raw punk rock that got no airplay because of the censors.

drown, by john easdale, the principal of the semisuccessful dramarama. Gorgeous song, with a fantastic guitar outro. Less than 1000 listens on spotify, while Kanye west has 50 billion. Which, as much as  anything, explains why we've failed as a society.
