OP,
The Cambridge exn 100 is a budget streamer. You can easily assemble a streamer / DAC combo that sounds the same or much better than the McIntosh mvp 871. It is a question of careful choice and investment. In today’s world it is worth working on making streaming your best sounding option.
I would abandon the bi-amping for now and concentrate on getting your components sorted out. You want synergistic and an equally capable streamer, DAC, Preamp and amp. Assuming you are happy with your speakers. Then you work on cables and power cords. If you make your decisions based on the sound quality of the components, I have ended up investing about streamer = DAC = Preamp = Amp < speakers.
My vinyl = CD = Streaming... except where streaming is high resolution... then streaming wins. This is here now and the future... streaming...so I’d recommend getting that right.
