Streamers rabbit hole

boy.  there are so many streamers out there all claiming to be better than the other.  My head is spinning.

I have an Anthem STR integrated amp, SVS SB300 sub, and Sonetto II G2s.  Looking for a good streamer pairing for this system.

Comments please....

The Nagra streamer is likely a repackaged Playback Designs streamer. The Nagra is likely $5k and the PBD is maybe $3k. I owned the older PDB STREAM-IF and it was an excellent streamer. I sold it to someone who owned the $25k PBD Dream DAC. Do some research on the 50k Nagra DAC and PBD.

The STREAM-IF was as good as the Sonore OpticalRendu streamer and the Lumin X1. I owned all 3 at the same time.

One of my 3 Sonore Optical Rendu's died today. It lasted for a very long time. When 1 more OpticalRendu dies I will buy the Lumin U2 Streamer.

@goodlistening64 I’m not following you. First, my amplifiers are in a cabinet I built in the crawl space under my family room and don’t impact my cabinet space. I prefer separates. I use passive subwoofers with a nice amp, again sub amps in the crawl space cabinet. I hate eARC and don’t use it on my AV preamp or OLED. Does the NAD have Home Theater Bypass so I can share the FL and FR speakers, subwoofers, and separate amplifiers with both the AVM 90 and STR? USB DAC input? Even the STR Integrated can’t use subwoofers in HTB and I use all XLR except for zone 2 on the Anthem AVM 90. Stereo sub bass management? ( I sum them anyway). I’m glad you like to promote the NAD and it seems like a very nice Integrated but I am very happy with my current setup and it will be even better once I connect my Innuos Stream1.

I have been happy with Cambridge Audio streamers, but the OP apparently was not.

Goldnote DS10 Evo for $3700.  Another $1500(ish) for the external power supply takes it to another level.
