Speakers sound too bright.

              What do you mean the left speaker was positive and the right was negative?  You hook up the right speaker to the right channel on the amp and the left speaker to the left channel. Amp and speaker have a positive and negative posts. You hook up the positive post on the amp to the positive post on the speaker and negative to negative on both speakers. It sounds like you have something hooked up incorrectly. That will cause a problem.

Also, someone said to get rid of the jumpers. You need the jumpers unless you are b i- wiring them and the jumpers are fine.

I did side my side comparisons, the Martin Logan’s suck. The Revel’s are superior and at half the cost. Unbelievable 

Add an Fx Audio Tube 01J tube buffer between your streamer and preamp and switch speaker cables to Cardas Quadlink 5c. 

Your Schitt Yggy may be the problem.  I once had a chance to compare one of those with my old Peachtree DAC and a $6000 PS Audio DAC.  Much of the crowd that day liked my Peachtree best and the PS Audio a close second.  I preferred the PS Audio a better, but not $6000 better.

All of us felt the Schitt was edgy and just a bad choice.

Try out a few others.  Get a friend to bring theirs over.   You can find Peachtree DACs on EBay for peanuts compared to what you paid for a Yggy.
