Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

mylogic

What you are saying, @mylogic , is that you prefer choreography that is poorly produced?  Each to his or her own. (And that includes certain sock accounts.)

@zx10  Plus 1000

He's suffering from terminal cloth eared syndrome.

Hang on Sloopy is trash, just a payday same as Jeff Beck's Hi Ho Silver Lining.

Warren Zevon, whom I highly admired, and still admire, took a payday with Werewolves of London but it was much better than the above two. However it turned off many people to his serious work which is highly underrated and frankly superb.

”What are you saying”

I am not saying anything at all. Not even generalising.

As long as dancing, prancing or posing looks good, l don’t care.

@waytoomuchstuff l agree with your observation. That “Sloopy Girl” with the untrained rabbits was hot and cool.

Bono on the other hand. Didn’t he look like a black mackintosh brigade slithery slimy sloppy boy.

l worked at two local cinemas in the 70s. One exhibited some seedy X rated films from time to time. I observed that black mackintosh look which was quite prevalent when those films were showing. Just a bit of first hand background knowledge from my job back then.

Very hard to put hand and job in the same sentence without some connotation. (Never mind very hard)
