How to find local audiophiles

I was wondering how you find others blessed (or afflicted) with the audiophile bug in your local area. If you live in a major metro area, I know there are clubs or audio stores that can make connections. I live in Lexington, Ky., and I haven't heard of a club. Surprisingly, for a city this size, not really high end audio stores specializing in two channel gear. It might be nice to exchange thoughts with like minded people face to face.

Via this site three of us are meeting for dinner/cocktails (initial introduction) tomorrow.  (11APR). 
initial emails… we have a redneck, a wasp, and one with “brown skin”. I think we will mesh well.

  2. crank up a SOTA hifi

The audiophiles will come a running. Some might be disguised as police. Audiophiles are clever little devils!

That was so funny. It was great meeting the redneck and wasp 😄. Can’t believe we spent almost 3 hours chatting! Looking forward to getting together for the listening sessions.
