I had the US Postal Service move a pair of Snell Type A's from Connecticut to Florida where I live. Each speaker weighs about 100 lbs and is two modules - a bass and a mid/tweeter module. So four large boxes of about 50 lbs each. The seller did a good job of packing in cardboard boxes. All four arrived safely. The cost was $100 a box, so $400 total for the thousand mile move. I paid the seller $400 for the Type A's and trusted him with the packing. The price was a bargain for such a great now classic pair of speakers! Thank you USPS for an excellent job!

A couple of years ago, my speakers were shipped from California to the Kansas City airport via Forward Air. A local shipping company was supposed to deliver them to my house. Something went amuck with the local guy, so arrangements were made for me to pick the speakers up at Forward Air's warehouse out by the airport. That worked fine. Speakers were double boxed and put on pallets. |
@awooof Most any company when you prepare the speakers like this. $100 in materials and an hour of your time. Cheers.
