BELLES VIRTUOSO INTEGRATED UPDATE

Its been over a year since the Belles Virtuoso integrated amplifier was supposed to be released, and according to my Belles dealer, who spoke to Dave Belles yesterday, heres' the current situation. Dave and his engineer's are still working on the Preamp section, and will go into production in the very near future. In the meantime, Dave has released the 2-channel Virtuoso amplifier which is available to purchase. The current version is without meter's and price is set at  $ 5495.00. The meter version will be available in the near future and retail for $ 6495.00. The amp weighs 44 lbs. and puts out 200 watts rms @ 8 ohms. Dave mentioned the preamp section is superior to the Aria preamplifier. Still waiting and looking forward to purchase the integrated. After all, patience is a Virtuoso!

I'm not in the market as I bought a Aesthetix Mimas from John, I was just curious, that's all.   Thanks.

@audionoobie

I'm waiting on an Aria Sig pre myself.

Enjoy, got mine about three weeks ago after a long wait, and the strong recommendation from Johnny. It is a bit funny though, I didn’t even know what it would look like until it arrived, or any details really. But, I trust Johnny, and he didn’t lead me astray.

Interesting I thought Dave got away from making the Virtuoso because of supply chain and expensive to manufacture? (Virtuoso that is) Is he still making them, sure does look cool (meter version) and I am sure it sounds nice. But his website made mention of them awhile ago but then nothing on his website lately. He does have a picture on his website but it doesn’t have the meters, and its very plain Jane looking, the meter one looks much better. How much better is than the Aria Signature Reference?

The only way to know for sure what's available and what's in the pipeline is to talk to Rutan.  John talks to Dave every couple of days.
