Bail was posted and The Hendrix Experience played that night at the Maple Leaf arena. Trial in Toronto on December 8 resulted in a jury acquitting Hendrix of the two charges on December 11, 1969.

He was banned from performing at any city-owned venue for 10 years. In 1992 he apologized and donated $10K to the Daughters of the Texas Republic.
