I always wondered how 'The Symbol' filled out his taxes or signed a check.

I remember when Sufjan Stevens was starting out I heard several pronunciations of his name and almost every article about him tried to clarify it, but it wasn't until I saw him and he said "Hi, I'm Sufjan Stevens" that I was sure how to pronounce it.
