BIC Venturi fans?

Using some Venturi 6 floor speakers from my deceased Uncle's 70's system as the Sansui developed a drop out woofer. Clean, clear and crisp with a very well controlled bass.

BIC Venturi 6 speakers , Dual 1229 turntable  , Ampex cassette player ,

Sony 85 watt receiver .  The first system I put together , about $1600 mid 70's

The speakers played in many different positions ,  on rubber matts, on bricks ,

outdoors during parties  and even hanging from the ceiling  .

Great speakers loved the front port , a feature that my current speaker have .

BIC stuff was very good for the money.  mr_m - The problem with the 960 running backwards occasionally was due to mismatch of capacitance / inductance in the motor circuit. Needs tuning.
