Calling All Ex - Shindo Preamp Owners

Hello,

I am currently using and enjoying my Shindo Masseto preamp, but there is always an eye to see what else is out there. Terribly promiscuous, I know. To be clear, I am not trying in any way to disparage Shindo preamps (they are great), but was  curious whether there are any ex-Shindo preamp owners out here - I would love to get some insight into what convinced you to move on and to which other brand(s) you moved on to (and why). Thank you!

Shindo currently making two 300B amps (8W) and one CV391 push pull 20W amp. Now if you compare this lineup with past amps, you will know exactly why I meant by limited choices.

If I were to venture again into Shindo, my dream system would feature one of these mono blocks amps with Giscours or Vosne-Romanee :-)

After 40yr experimenting with all kind of amps, now I am using Accuphase P-4500 and A-48 (Class A A-48 mostly in colder seasons, it generates some heat). Driving those with perfectly matched in a balanced way C-2420 pre., w/ AD-2820 phono.

Do you feel P-4500 offers any compromises over A-48’s pure class A watts?
