Entry level speakers for tube amp?

I'm looking to purchase a pair of speakers (used or new for $400-$700) to go with an Onix SP3 amp. I've read about the Klipsch Heresy III. Any other suggestions?

They both love tubes, and they are cheap but great sounding. $299 for the diamonds, $250 for elac. Both have been raved about in sterephile, and the diamonds won product of the year several years ago...
