Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Hey Stereo5, I'm not a big fan of "Dead Can Dance" (they skirt a little to close to the "New Age" musical style for me), but this is what "AllMusic" has to say about the Spiritchaser album: " Essentially, Spiritchaser is a summing up rather than a push forward; it features all the usual elements of a Dead Can Dance album instead of further explorations to see what else could be done." That could be why it seems like it is all over the place. FWIW, they seem to have had a decent following. |
Actually Spiritchaser breaks new ground by going after South American music in lieu of Middle Eastern music which was always their bread and butter. Do I hear riffs on some George Harrison stuff? And harkens back to A Separate Reality by Carlos Castenada. Reality is for people who can’t handle drugs. |
