Does anyone use wood for vibration control?

@abucktwoeighty I made a similar observation about wood, energy and how to dissipate the energy but it was deleted by the moderators who apparently have no sense of humor. And if ANYTHING ever needed a sense of humor, its high-end audio.

"wood vibrates". The appropriate phrase would be wood resonates. Just like almost anything. The key is to find out how to integrate any material's resonate property and have it gel with an audio components resonant property.
