Ok ill go first , who listens to CD's anymore? Get a great music player, for the price of that McIntosh you could buy an Aurender music player and also have MQA (players have Dac's so they are decoding MQA. Servers need a outboard DAC to function) ability. I think investing in the future is the way to go when it comes to digital music.
If you want the best for CD's buy a Esoteric NEO VERDES transport is like a block of aluminum, i'll bet the McIntosh CD drawer is plastic! Music Server/players are the way to go IMO.
I love McIntosh, but not in this application. Aurender is the way to go :-)
