I'm at the point where I have come to the decision of upgrading my whole system. There is a possibilty of building a theater in my basement a room 24'x14' but not totally restricted to the 24' lenght.
I read your thread and wrote all the components down that you use and have been doing research on each, also am leaning toward Thiel speakers center MCSI.
, main CS 2.4, and powerpoints 2.1 for rears.
I am not dedicated to this setup but all my research comes back to these.
I enjoy good music as well as DVD and would spend extra for musical sound, any advice would be more than appriciated.

I thought you needed help on connections / setup. For equipment selection go to dealers and see / hear what you like.

And, if you are buying, you can expect the dealer to install, especially if you are willing to pay for install. Then, you will have a local party with ongoing responsibility.
