Phoenix, AZ

The Arizona Audio Video Club began life as the Arizona Audiophile Society in 1985. The name was changed a few years back to more accurately reflect the varied interests of the members. The club meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month, at various locations in the greater Phoenix area. We occasionally schedule special interest meetings, with topics such as music listening, equipment evaluations, tech workshops, etc. Members receive monthly newsletters, either as hard copies or by e-mail. Members also enjoy discounts on purchases at several of the local audio and HT specialty stores. For more information, check out our website at www.azaudioclub.com

This month's meeting will be held at 7pm on Wednesday Feb. 23rd at the Trinity Lutheran Church. The address of the church is 9244 North 7th Avenue (that's just north of Hatcher). The meeting will feature a presentation by Bob Corritore, host of KJZZ's "Those Lowdown Blues", an accomplished blues harmonica player, and owner of the Rhythm Room. He will discuss the blues, play some examples and field questions. Bob has been active part of the Phoenix blues scene for years and we are fortunate to have him as our guest. It should be highly informative and entertaining.

There will be a members-only drawing for door prizes. Refreshments will be served.
