I just came upon a cd called IS A WOMAN by LAMBCHOP.

It's gotta be the most less over-produced recording I've heard in a long time, the mix and sound are world class and the music and lyrics riveting. It doesn't sound like anything else I've got..... If you can imagine Brian Eno and Lyle Lovett collaborating on a down-tempo piece with a dozen guys in the band. Hope you like it if you get a chance to check it out.
Um...does "most less over-produced" translate to a) least produced, b) under produced, c) naturally produced or d) none of the above? Your mention of Brian Eno and Lyle Lovett in the review intrigues me, but I'm not sure what you mean by the recording's production.
Is a Woman is a very good recording with a natural, detailed and open presentation and the music is sometimes classified as country but to me it is just darn good, laid back, flowing, acoustic and always interesting

All Music Guide says they have better albums than Is a Woman but not to my ears as I own them too.
