Some....and results may vary based on model. This is more aimed at their preamps. In general VAC sounds like brilliant modern tube gear. Not warm and gooey like older gear but does not sound solid state. Their is an immersive soundstage and a sweet warmth to their sound. Allnic borders on sounding solid state to me. Incredible resolution and a huge soundstage, but lacks the warmth that one expects from tube gear. Both a phenomenal but different.
