Thiel/Ayre Cable Match

I have a pair of 3.6's and a V1x and I was wondering what the community thought would be a good match for my speaker cable. I currently have a older pair of AQ midnight but the sound seems more sterile. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have not listened to the Thiel's but I own a V1 and a friend owns a V1x. He uses MIT's and I use Cardas Golden Ref. Both cables sound very good. We both ended up using Cardas Golden ref. XLR interconnects.

I heard the Thiel with the Stratos Oddyssey extreme,
using Harmonic technology cable,the sound is
excellent.
