The Big Misconception About Electricity

This vid goes quite a ways down the road to explaining why:

1)  Power cords make a not so subtle difference.

2) Cable elevators should not be looked at askance.

How about we each share our biggest personal misconception rather than assuming we know what the other  person’s is? You know what happens when you assume, right?  That other person might be smarter than us.

When you guys figure out what the misconception is better let the engineers and scientists who actually understand this stuff and make it work know.  I expect my electricity to be done right!

This thread is a much bigger misconception, more like a disaster for those involved, compared to the supposed electricity one that started it. Go figure! Nobody looks good arguing over whatever happens to cross their mind ad infinitim.
