Stanton T62 Turntable

I just purchased this very clean Stanton T62 with a 500-V3 cartridge.

Arm is 8 1/2 " in length straight. I am seeing mixed opinions about using this table for home use only ...for playing records...not DJ.

Opinions please \thank you

It’s not even for DJing as you might think, because the choice of professional (vinyl) DJs is always Technics SL1200 mk2 and higher. Stanton is just a cheap toy for amateurs who can’t afford Technics, normally teenagers pretending to be a DJs.

After Watter O. Stanton sold his company (Stanton Magnetics Inc) there is nothing interesting from Stanton, now called Stanton Group. Let’s face it.

Upgrade to Technics (or at least to Pioneer).

Chakster is right! The Pioneer PLX 1000 is an easy recommendation at its list price of $699. I have one in my collection with a Denon 103R.
