Tclipse, I've hear two of the totems and preferred the newforms to them....the newforms are what I own. They are very easy to drive. Speakers are so personal. I use solid state on the newforms. I like some of the older proac models. Now the fun part will be to listen in your own room on your system. Another plus with the newforms are you can have great theatre sound from them as well.
