where do you live? jm labs are hard to beat.

I agree, Jm labs can be really really good. One Caveat, the utopia line is the only one I like. I have a set of mini utopias. Not bad for corner placement since the ports (slits) face out and you get less boom. Listen on smooth electronics can be a little harsh or just perfectly extended depending on the electronics.
i have a pair of Martin Logan Aerius i in a room smaller than Hinde's, and they sound great. Plenty of space for them. Full range electrostats might be a different story, but worth a shot.
As soon as I have a bigger listening room, I'll move to full range electrostatic panels... there is something so very special about electrostat sound...
