Shunyata Venom vs Alpha`

The Shunyata Venom has been getting positive press lately, but what about the Zitron Alpha series? I recently heard the Venom HC with my Luxman 550AX. It is dynamic and has low end weight, but is edgy and bright to my ears. I am wondering how the Zitron Alpha HC compares to the Venom HC.

Previously used Helix series. Astounding increase in resolution. Not bright or edgy in any way. I am also using the new Venom on my headphone amp and no edge there.
