get yourself a harmony universal, which use an easy online setup and will control virtually anything--their earlier models like the 510 harmonyare very inexpensive ($50 or less) on ebay. it'll be much cheaper than buying a replacement rotel remote.
Setup of Rotel RSX1056 w/o Remote?
Greetings, Audio Wizards. I recently purchased a RSX1056 on Ebay. I'm a new college grad and this is my first hifi setup, so excuse my naiveté. In any case, the unit I won did not come with the RR1050 remote. After scanning the pdf manual on the Rotel site, I'm a bit concerned. Can I set up the various inputs using the buttons on the faceplate- or do I need to spring for a remote? Thanks.
