Not familiar with current version but Dominus Rev. B was one of worse sounding digital cables, never sold it to any of our clients.
Unless you see one of these cables posted, they are pretty hard to find...people buy em and keep em.

I am using 2 Purist Proteus Provectus Praesto digital cables. These are excellent also...a little less money if buying new...but possess incredible clarity while retaining all the naturalness Purist are known for...

I'd look into these, new, you might be pretty happy...they have the fluid/ferrox blend...so get a bit of both atributes
You must have had a lemon!
Also the Rev. B is over 5 years old model.
Never heard a bad sounding PAD cable, even their cheapest model.
As mentioned, the newer PAD upper models either use Fluid, Ferox or Contego
(which combines the nice attributes of the Fluid and Ferox insulators).
The new Proteus is a great bang for the buck, the Canorus is even better, and of
course the 25th Anniversary is crazy good!
Enjoy!
Gfroman, I was a long time PAD dealer and supporter, only dropped the line when the Ferrox line came out, then we moved to another brand. It wasn't our only one and it wasn't lemon, unlike their interconnects and speaker wires of the era the digital PAD cables were horrible and very colored. The age has nothing to do with it, if it was good then it still is today and vice versa.
Thank you all for comments.

Jfrech, You did mentioned Fluid/Ferrox blending shield. By that Fluid/Ferrox blend shied, you mean new version of Dominus using this blending shield? or it's another model of PAD that utilize this blending shield? Thank you again.

Samie
Gfroman hit it above...the Canorus using the ferrox/fluid blend...contego it's called. I don't thing you'l go wrong here with the protues provecus or the canorus...just depends on $$ how much...

I had once a pair PAD speaker cable; I don't remenber which one.
When I replaced it by a JPS superconductor 3 I have had the feeling that a cork had been removed from my ears !!!

To my humble opinion: PAD are overpriced cables !
