Parasound A51 vs Krell Showcase amp showdown

Hey everyone,

I'm currently running a Krell S-1000 preamp (recent upgrade, astounding performance) with a Parasound A51 amplifier, and its an absolutely stunning combination. I'm thinking about trying a Krell amplifier, maybe a Showcase 5 or 7. Can anyone give any input on the Krell Showcase sound vs the Parasound A51? Looks like they're at about the same price-point, but I've heard nothing but good things about the Krell amps, although the Showcase is one of their lower lines.
