Parasound 2125v2 causing speaker hum

My Parasound 2125v2 preamp is causing my speakers to hum.

I have tried turning down the gain on the preamp, the hum decreases then goes away when the gain is turned all the way down but then there is no sound from the speakers.

The hum is present no matter what the input, can’t seem to hear the hum once music/video is playing.

The rest of my system:

Emotiva XMC-1

Emotiva UPA-700 (center&surround spkrs)

Parasound 2125v2 (front spkrs)

Rega P6 turntable (Ania phono cartridge)

MC Fono phono stage

Bluesound Vault 2

Roku Ultra

Direct TV HD receiver

AV123 Strat Mini (front spurs)

AV123 RSC-200 (center)

Klipsch Reference RS-35 (surrounds)

Boston CR-6 (back surrounds)

SVS SB-3000 (subwoofer)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Disconnect all of the inputs and try again. If this fixes the issue it’s a ground loop. If not it may be your pre needs servicing.  You may also try disconnecting hte output to the sub for the same reason.

The problem was resolved by plugging the preamp, power amp and speakers into the same power conditioner
