Opinions on Viola Audio Labs

I am looking for some thoughts and opinions on this brand. I already know that there is a website (www.violalabs.com) and that the designers are Tom Colangelo and Paul Jayson (ex Mark Levinson and Cello), but I didn't find reviews or comments over the internet about the products. Does someone know more ?

Thanks for your reply. Actually they were at the '05 CES too, but seems no one knows about it or their products...
Earsnova in NYC has them on display with Avalon. At least their ads say that. Have not heard them or been there. Somewhere on the upper east side. Review coming up in Stereophile for their lower end stuff.

Did they still have the super shiny/fingerprint prone finish.

No more. Brushed aluminium (or iron) panels now.
As I can tell I have seen them advertised in Japanese audio mags (except i don't speak japanese). I wonder that they aren't being marketed there.

I wonder that they aren't being marketed there.
Sure they are available in the Far East and also in some European Countries. BTW, they just attended the Tokyo show. I also heard that other USA dealers will be appointed soon.
Their web site shows Ears Nova in New York is a Viola dealer (phone 1-212-288 2855) and the contact perason is Joshua Cohn ( www.earsnova.com). It says "for all other dealers, please call Viola Audio Labs". Based on the above responses, it seems they have very limited distribution and I suggest you contact Viola Audio Labs direct for more info BEFORE you buy any product (new or used).

Thank you Hgeifman. Actually I was looking for some opinions on their sound, I already saw the info about dealers, etc. If someone did hear them, please share with us. Thank you.
Review from Stereophile December 2005 coming for the VIOLA Cadenza Preamp "one of the BEST preamp in the market".
I got that issue, thanks. They seem a new contender for the "best of the best" in electronics...
Follow up: I received my first units from Viola Labs and became their Italian distributor. The Cadenza preamp/Symphony amp combo is shockingly good: no traces of their SS nature, just a smooth, liquid sound yet transparent, tight and dynamic. Distortion is at lowest level possible, both the preamp and the amp are extremely accurate but musical at the same time. Tom Colangelo and Paul Jayson did strike again !
Hi,
do you have a pair of Viola Bravo 2 for sale now?
I’m very interrested.
Thank you
