I'm in the market for a cd player to play mostly redbook cds. My budget is about 1k and was looking for opinions on which is better. Buying a used player that was nice in it's day or go with a newer player. Has digital technology caught up with itself.
I'd look into OPPO and Denen universal players. They play all the formats including HDCD cds, and they play redbook cds very well, better than many cdps in that price range. You should give them consideration before your final selection.
