Not Enough Power???

HELLO AUDIOGONERS,
AM I DEFEATING THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF MY MARTIN-LOGAN AERIUS i SPEAKERS, USING A OLDER KRELL KSA-80 POWER AMP??? NOT ENOUGH POWER FOR THE LOGANS. WOULD I DO MUCH BETTER WITH A KRELL FPB 200 0R 300. WHAT DO YOU THINK. ALSO DO YOU RECOMMEND A 220 LINE ON POWER AMPS? OR IS 110 OK??

Maybe, if you play it loud. You may be able to find another KSA-80 and have them converted to mono and have KMA-160s.
Don't shout.... take off the caps lock.

I think you would be very pleased with the extra power a FPB-300 would offer. I moved to that from a KSA-150 and loved the extra power. 110 is fine.
I ran these at a dealer with my VTL Tiny Triodes and they were astonishing... and loud enough. Personally, I believe SS is all wrong for this speaker. I've heard them run with larger tube amps and they always sounded superior compared with SS.
should be enough power used a Rowland 1 with quest speakers with good success and volume also.
