New Meadowlark Kestral 2: Was at CES--Opinions??

Anybody audition Meadowlark's "New" Kestral 2 at CES 2003?? (ML claims they are more dynamic and also have better bass and imaging!!) If so, how do they compare to some other $1700 speakers now on the market or also introduced at CES?? Would like some feedback, need to buy something soon for the livingroom set-up that is an excellent value.
