Adjustments are precise and stable. What's the point of a wonderfully engineered product which can't be adjusted for optimum sound? Another great benefit is its tweak-ability. One can tweak the mass of the arm wand, the damping, and by supporting the other end of the beam, even the stability. I would love to hear a Durand in my system on my DIY air bearing table, but other priorities beckon.
