MF A3 cr with tube pre-amp

Hi,

I am looking for tube pre-amp to work with my Musical Fidelity A3 cr. A saleman told me that it wouldn't work. I'd appreciate for any comment.

I have an A3cr amp mated to a Sonic Frontiers Line 1, and the pair performs quite nicely. The A3 has relatively forgiving input impedence (31k), so it should operate fine with a fair number of tubed pre-amps
