McIntosh C1000 tube pre vs. ARC Ref 3?

Has anybody heard these against each other? Both are very well received by the audio press.

You will just have to get one and try it out for yourself. Personally, if I had the money for the McIntosh, this debate would be a no brainer. Arthur
