Mark Levinson 331 a little bit too dark?

I just found a ML311 used in very good condition. I find this amp a little bit dark. The amp I replaced was an Arcam A90. This is what i use now:
Arcam CD192(for transport)
Neotech coax Cable
Hegel HD20
Monster Cable RCA
Mark Levinson No311
Audioquest Mont Blanc
System Audio Explorer Master
Where do I begin? What should I change first?
