Life of a Glider

My Benz Glider will be celebrating its 10th birthday this year. I've not tracked the hours on it and have no guess. (I promise to track hours on my next cartridge) Will it be obvious when it comes time for replacement? Seems I'm still getting good sound (out of Classic 3). But I'm concerned that if cartridge performance degrades slowly over time that I may not be noticing it. Thoughts?

If you played it for 10 years, it will be OK and OK for retip when time comes.
Benz are durable and reliable for a mere of 3,000 hours that you might've not reached yet.
More issue if it was sitting unplayed when the rubber and other flexible parts would loose moisture and flexibility.
Keep enjoying your tunes and analogue!
