Here is a video from Vinshine Audio where Alvin shows you how to configure your I2s connections. He shows the process of synching around the 11:30 mark but you should watch it from the beginning. Hope this helps.

Help Witt's End Jays CDT3 HDMI i2s To Terminator Dac
I just received a tubulus concentus i2s cable and installed
In the system set to HDMI i2s and it sounds like the music is stuck between
two radio stations lots of static. The Dac did not com with a manual.
Looking on line I was unable to find the early version. From what I
understand it has to be set up through a series of button pushing.
Tried different ways of doing so with no luck.
Anybody have a simple way to configure this setup?
I have to say the BNC made life easy.
